Melissa Peterson, CLC

Being a 6th generation Florida native it’s only natural that Melissa Peterson zeroed in on real estate as a career. Starting in reception for a small title company at the age of 17 and working from the ground up over the years to has allowed her to excel in the title insurance industry as a Closing Agent. As a Notary Public and Closing Agent since 1994, one of her biggest achievements over the years was to obtain recognition from the Florida Land Title Association (FLTA) as a Certified Land Closer (CLC) in 2005. She has been a Licensed Title Agent for the State of Florida since 2006. Using the shift in Florida’s real estate market in 2007 to her advantage, she also broadened her knowledge of real estate law and procedure by spending over 2 years as a Civil Trial Clerk for Lee and Glades County aiding Judges for the 20th Judicial Circuit. Melissa is a former member of the CLC/CLS committee for the FLTA and aided in updating the testing standards for future applicants. In 2022, she obtained her Florida paralegal certification.

With over 30 years of title insurance experience, Melissa has the knowledge and compassion required to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. She prides herself on making sure that every transaction is handheld personally and treated as if it were her own so that all parties in the transaction feel their closing is in the best hands possible. It’s not a job when you LOVE what you do.
